The Venezuelan government is moving carefully to box in Guaido. A Venezuelan judge is considering stripping him of his immunity forcing him to curtail his “presidential” activities.
Actually, stripping away his immunity now may save him ultimately. For a guy who committed treason by proclaiming himself “interim president” and colluding with the U. S. to overthrow the Government of Venezuela, taking away his immunity will land him in jail soon, but prevent him from committing more illegal acts. And, this may be the only way he can avoid the common penalty for treason — death.
